I bought the only little jewel I've ever personally seen at Gibson's in Columbus MS in 1973 (I think). I caught a lot of big fish with it, then lost it somewhere and it completely slipped my mind for 40+ years. I came across some pictures last week that reminded me of them, and I decided to see if I could order some on the internet. They came in today. I walked outside to my back yard and caught a 3 lb and 5lb 15oz in 3 casts. I love me some Little Jewels. What a blast from the past. Thank you!!

I grew up using the Little Jewel spinnerbaits.....they were a mainstay for bass and crappie at Pickwick lake every spring....caught a ton of fish on them and so glad John has brought them back. Billy Phillip Lures can't be beat. Have been catching fish on them for over 35 years. The double whammy inline spinner bait has caught a lot of trophy size bass for me.

I thought Billy was a family member I often overhead my daddy & his fishing Buddy's asking if they called Billy yet ? or has Billy called you yet ? It was all about ordering them Double Whammy's. Daddy would buy some Whammy's just to give them away to people he liked & he liked a lot of folks.

Have been a firm believer of BP spinner baits since the mid 90's. I use the Go-Go 95% of the time. Nothing but success. Lots of tournament wins and top finishes due to this bait. Wouldn't be caught without 3 or 4 any day. Works year round.

I met Mr.Phillips at boat show, in early 80s and we talked like we had known each other forever, He told me to buy some of his double whammys and I didn't like them he would refund my money,Well I'm bought them and still have some of them.so glad to be able to get some from y'all.

Always a fan of Billy Phillips Buzz and Whammy lures. Have caught a ton of bass on them going back to the 1980 's if I remember right. Glad to have been told of the site because I was surely saddened to think such a bass catching bait would never be made again. Mr Phillips is smiling as I post this. Good luck

Grew up fishing Pickwick with my dad, uncle and cousin, caught bass and crappie on the Little Jewel Spinner Bait....always murdered them pitching around and under docks. So glad to have BPL back in business. John is always so personable and helpful...best of luck!!

Glad to see Mr Phillips baits back on the market. I still have a few in packages from 20 years ago. Would not use them, as I could not get replacements. But now will sure be using the best double blade spinner baits made all the time. Pickwick Lake Pete

Good job John......I've been fishing the little jewel and my favorite the tiny little jewel for a long time....I have several with the circular bend rather than the R bend. They are without a doubt the best spinnerbait available....you'll be hearing from me soon. good to hear from you.
